Note: Only a single course can be
subscribed to at a
time. Repeat the steps for every
course desired. Any changes to the
MyFIRE
calendar will reflect on your
connected calendar within 24 to 48
hours.
To Subscribe via Google
Calendar:
1. Navigate
to the desired course.
2. Select
Course Tools in the Navbar.
3. Select
Calendar from the drop-down menu.
4. Select
Settings.
5. A
pop-up window will appear. Select the
checkbox
under Calendar Feeds.
6. Select
Save at the bottom of the pop-up
window.
7. A
new option will appear. Select
Subscribe.
8. A
pop-up window will appear. Choose the
desired
course calendar by selecting the drop-down
menu. Note: The “All Calendars”
option cannot be subscribed to. A
single course will need to be
selected.
9. After
your selection has been made, copy the
URL. Note: This URL is unique to your
account.
10. Navigate
to Google Calendar.
11. Scroll
down on the left-hand side and select the
plus icon ‘+’ under Other calendars.
12. In
the mini-menu, select From URL.
13. The
page will refresh. Enter the URL in the
field.
14. Select
Add Calendar.
15. Google
will process the request and fill the
MyFIRE dates into your calendar.
Depending on how many events there are,
this could take up to 24 hours. The new
calendar will be found under the Other
Calendars section. Select the 3 dots on
the right-hand side to access the calendar
settings.
To Subscribe via an iPhone
Calendar:
1. Navigate
to the desired course.
2. Select
Course Tools in the Navbar.
3. Select
Calendar from the drop-down menu.
4. Select
Settings.
5. A
pop-up window will appear. Select the
checkbox
under Calendar Feeds.
6. Select
Save at the bottom of the pop-up
window.
7. A
new option will appear. Select
Subscribe.
8. A
pop-up window will appear. Choose the
desired
course calendar by selecting the drop-down
menu. Note: The “All Calendars”
option cannot be subscribed to. A
single course will need to be
selected.
9. After
your selection has been made, copy the
URL. Note: This URL is unique to your
account.
10. On
an iPhone, navigate to Settings.
11. Select
Calendar. Note: If unable to locate
this option, search for Calendar in
the
search bar.
12. When
the screen refreshes, select
Accounts.
13. From
Accounts, select the Add Account
option.
14. Select
Other.
15. Under
Calendars, select Add Subscribed
Calendar.
16. From
here, type or paste the URL from
MyFIRE.
17. Once
the URL is entered, select Next.
18. Select
Save.
