After an announcement has been created, it can later be deleted if it is no longer applicable. Additionally, if an announcement has been deleted, it can be restored if needed. This tutorial will walk through how to delete and restore a previously deleted announcement.

1.     Locate the course where you want to delete or restore an announcement.

2.     On the homepage, select Announcements.


3.     When the page refreshes, locate the announcement that you want to delete.

4.     Next, select the drop-down arrow to the right of the announcement title.

5.     From the drop-down menu, select Delete.


6.     A pop-up window will appear confirming if you would like to delete the announcement. Select Yes.


7.     To delete multiple announcements at once, check the box next to all the announcements that you would like to delete.


8.     Select Delete above the announcement list.


9.     A pop-up window will appear confirming if you would like to delete the announcement. Select Yes.


10.  To restore deleted announcements, select More Actions at the top of the page.


11.  In the drop-down menu, select Restore.


12.  Locate the desired announcement(s).

13.  Check the boxes next to the announcement(s) you would like to restore.


14.  Next, select Restore.
