Dismiss and Restore an Activity from Quick Eval

 

Instructors have many assessments to evaluate throughout the duration of a course. For some courses, not all learning activities will need to be evaluated by the instructor. If there is an assessment that does not need to be evaluated, an instructor can dismiss that activity from their Quick Eval list. Additionally, if the dismissed activity can be restored to the Quick Eval activities list. This tutorial demonstrates how to remove and restore an assessment from the Quick Eval list in MyFIRE. 

 

1.    From within the desired course in MyFIRE, select the Quick Eval tab at the top of the page in the navigation bar. 

2.    When the page refreshes, select the activities tab. 

 

3.    Locate the activity from the list of assessments. 

 

4.    Then select the more actions option. 

 

5.    A drop-down menu will appear. Select dismiss until

 

6.    Then a pop-up window will appear. Choose to dismiss the activity until a new submission, a specific date or forever by selecting the corresponding option. 

 

7.    Next, select dismiss activity at the bottom of the pop-up window. When the page refreshes, the activity will be removed from the Quick Eval activities list. 

 

8.    Dismissed activities can be restored from the dismissed activities list by selecting the Quick Eval more actions menu (three-dot icon)

 

9.    A drop-down menu will appear. Select dismissed activities

 

10. A pop-up window will appear. Locate and select the desired assessment that needs to be restored by selecting the checkbox to the left of the item’s title. 

 

11. Then select restore at the bottom of the pop-up window. Once restore is selected, the page refreshes and the desired assessment will appear in the activity list.
