During the length of a course, instructors have the option to publish, draft, retract, or update grades for students on learning activities. For each action, MyFIRE keeps a timestamp and record of who makes the changes within the course. This tutorial demonstrates how to view a user grade book event log. 

Additionally, if the course includes an integration that automatically publishes grade scores to the MyFIRE grade book, following the steps below will allow the instructor to see when grades have been published and changed.

1.        Navigate to the desired course in MyFIRE.

2.        Select the Grades tab from the navigation bar tab at the top of the page.

3.        The page will refresh to show the Enter Grades page. Locate and navigate to the desired student.

4.        To the right of the student’s name, select the drop-down arrow.

5.        A drop-down menu will appear. Select View Event Log.

6.        A pop-up window will appear. Within the pop-up window, the following will be displayed:

a.        Student Name - The student name will appear at the top left corner of the pop-up window so that the instructor can easily see which student’s grade records are being reviewed.

b.        Search Bar - Search for users who have made grade changes by typing the user’s name in the search bar and selecting the magnifying glass icon.

c.        Show Search Options - This option allows instructors to search the user event log by a start date, end date, or a date range.

                                                                                             i.         If this optional feature is selected, instructors can search by a start date, end date, or date range by selecting the corresponding start and end date checkboxes.

                                                                                          ii.         Then enter a start date and/or end date in the date field.

                                                                                       iii.         Next, enter a time in the time field.

                                                                                       iv.         Select the magnifying glass icon to initiate the search.

d.        Modified By - The modified by column lists the users that have made grade changes for the specified student. This column can be sorted by selecting the title.

e.        Last Modified - The last modified column lists the timestamps of each grade change for the specified student. This column can be sorted by selecting the title.

f.           Item - The item column lists the item that had the grade event change. This column can be sorted by selecting the title.

g.         Grade -  The grade column lists the point grade value for the grade event change.

h.        Weighted Grade - The grade column lists the weighted grade value for the grade event change.

i.            Symbol - The symbol lists the grade scheme symbol for the grade event change.

7.        Once done reviewing the grade events, select Close at the bottom of the pop-up window.
