Intelligent
Agents are emails that can be automated and personalized. Use intelligent
agents to monitor login activity, course activity, and release conditions in
your course. Instructors are able to group intelligent agents by categories.
This tutorial demonstrates how to create intelligent agents categories in
MyFIRE.
1. From
within your course, select instructor tools from the navigation
bar.
2. A
drop down menu will appear, select course admin.
3. When
the page refreshes, locate and select intelligent agents from the
available communication tools.
4. When
the page refreshes, select edit categories at the top of the page.
5. When
the page refreshes, select add category at the top of the page.
6. A
pop-up window will appear. Type the title of the category in the name field.
7. Then
select create at the bottom of the pop-up window.
8. The
newly created category will appear on the Categories page. If you need to edit
the title of a category, select the name of the category. The title will
become editable.
a. Make the needed change
and select enter or click out of the field to save the change.
9. If
the number within the sort order column is selected, the field will
become editable. At this time, the category order is not able to be reordered.
a. If needed, you can
filter the category order by ascending or descending order by selecting the arrow below the Sort Order title.
10. View
if there are intelligent agents nested within the categories by viewing the In
Use column. If there is a green checkmark within this column, there is at
least one intelligent agent that is nested within the category.
11. If
needed, delete a category by selecting the checkbox to the left of the
category.
a. Then select the trash
can icon above the categories list.
b. A confirmation message
will appear to confirm if you would like to delete the category. Select yes.
12. Once
finished editing the categories, select close at the bottom of the page
to return to the list of intelligent agents.
