Enrolling in Courses in JICS

 

JICS is a platform that houses official student information. This tutorial demonstrates how students can login and enroll in courses each semester through their JICS account.


  1. Navigate to https://seu.onelogin.com/portal.
  2. Login using your SEU email and password.
  3. When the page refreshes, select the JICS tile.

 

4.             Once on the main page, scroll down and click Register in the Student Registration box.

 

5.             Be sure to select the correct term you are trying to enroll in from the drop down.

 

6.             Click on the Course Search option to locate the desired courses.

 

7.             Enter in the course information to the course search panel.

 

8.             Select Search Courses.

 

9.             Select the plus sign in front of the course that you would like to add.

 

10.          Once the course has been added, the plus sign in front of the course will change to a thumbs up and the course code will appear above the calendar.

 

11.          Select the drop down menu on the course code to view the following options:

 

           a.             Remove from my calendar- this will remove it from your student schedule

           b.             Contact instructor- a pop up will appear asking which platform you would like to use to email the instructor and will redirect you to your email account

           c.              View details- this option will show all the course details such as the instructor information, the days scheduled, and textbook information.

 

12.          Once all the desired courses have been selected, select registration checkout.

 

13.          A pop-up window will appear. Check the boxes of the courses that you would like to enroll in.

 

14.          Select Register to complete the process.
