McGraw Hill deeply integrates into MyFIRE, allowing for direct links to be added to the content page. When an update is made to the links within McGraw Hill, they need to be updated in MyFIRE to reflect the change.

An example of why you would complete these steps: any dates were updated, or assignment titles were changed.

Note: This tutorial assumes that the course has already been integrated/connected with McGraw Hill and you are an editing instructor.

1.        Navigate to the desired course.

2.        Navigate to the desired content module.

3.        Select Add Existing.

6.        A new tab will open with the Relink assignments page. Please wait a few moments for the page to fully load before selecting anything else. The assignments will load in either one of the sections, so you know where to intervene.

a.        Linked assignments: These are linked assignments to McGraw Hill and everything is functioning as intended.

                                                                                             i.         These are the links that will update when you go to step 7 if dates are being updated.

b.        Hidden or Unassigned assignments: These are hidden or unassigned links within McGraw Hill. Action needs to be taken if they should not be in this category.

c.        Matching assignments: These are matching assignment titles between MyFIRE and McGraw Hill. This will come up if titles are changed at any point or McGraw Hill links were copied into the shell. The system will try to match them for you.

d.        Unlinked assignments: These are unlinked assignments or have no match to McGraw Hill and can be safely deleted in MyFIRE. This can also be an indicator of a stuck deployment in McGraw Hill. This will need McGraw Hill support intervention.

7.        When ready, Select Relink and Update in the bottom right to update the course links.

8.        The page will refresh and show the Relinking summary page, confirming actions taken (linked assignments updated and links remained unlinked). With this information, either no action needs to be taken, or make note of the links that will need to be deleted and redeployed.

9.        Select OK in the bottom right when finished, and you will be navigated back to MyFIRE.
