Brainfuse is a free online
tutoring service that students can access through MyFIRE. SkillSurfer is one of
the many tools that Brainfuse offers and contains a multitude of self-paced
lessons and practice tests. The following tutorial demonstrates how to use the
SkillSurfer academic tool.
1. Navigate to seu.onelogin.com/portal and log into your
account.
2. Select the MyFIRE icon within your Southeastern
dashboard.
3. You will be redirected to the MyFIRE user homepage.
If directions are needed on how to navigate through the homepage, refer to the user homepage instructions.
4. Select Need Help from the navigation bar.
5. Select Online Tutoring: Brainfuse from the dropdown
menu.
6. The Brainfuse Homepage will appear.
7. Scroll down on the main page to see the Brainfuse
academic tools.
8. Select the SkillSurfer tile.
9. Next, choose the general topic of interest.
10. To expand the category,
select the plus sign that says View Lessons.
11. Select the subject within
the category you want to learn more about.
12. Choose the test that
you would like to do for extra practice in the subject.
13. When the page refreshes, select the Begin Test button.
