Students
may have the opportunity to reattempt incorrect questions on quizzes. The
availability of this feature will depend on quiz settings being enabled by
professors and/or course designers. When submitting an attempt for incorrect
questions, the points earned will be added to your original score. This
tutorial demonstrates how to reattempt incorrect quiz questions as a student in
MyFIRE.
1. Navigate
to the desired course in MyFIRE.
2. Select
the content & assessment tab in the navigation bar at the top
of the page.
3. When
the page refreshes, locate and select the module where the quiz is
located from the table of contents on the left side of the screen.
4. If
needed, select the apply page or submodule. If not needed, skip to
step 5. Note: The apply page may appear different than the screenshot
below depending on the type of course you are taking.
5. Locate
and select the quiz title within the module, submodule, or
webpage.
6. Locate
the attempts notification on the quiz page and note that more than one
attempt available. Note: Students must have at least 2 attempts on a quiz to
be able to reattempt incorrect quiz questions.
7. Then
notice that the retake incorrect questions setting is enabled for your
additional attempt.
8. Select
the start quiz button at the bottom of the page.
9. When
the additional attempt opens, you will only be able to attempt questions that
were incorrect from your previous quiz attempt. The correct questions will show
with a lock icon, and the incorrect questions will show a red alert
icon.
The incorrect questions that need to be
attempted will appear on the right-side of the screen.
10. Once
finished answering the incorrect questions, select submit quiz twice at
the bottom of the page.
