Lumi Tutor helps students engage with course content in a personalized and accessible way. Students can access AI assistance 24/7 directly within MyFIRE for personalized course content, assignment and study support. Students can also use Lumi Tutor to summarize key concepts for reinforcement, clarify course expectations and assignments, and help them stay organized through structured insights. With integrated Study Mode, students can also interact with their content using quizzing, flashcards, study notes and other interactive tools. This makes Lumi Tutor a powerful companion for active learning and content retention. This tutorial demonstrates how to utilize the Lumi Tutor tool in MyFIRE. 

1.        Navigate to your course in MyFIRE.

2.        Select Lumi Tutor from the navigation bar.

3.        A confirmation window will appear asking if you would like to connect your account to utilize Lumi Tutor. This message will only appear the first time you navigate to Lumi Tutor. Select Continue.

4.        Another confirmation message will appear asking if you would like LearnWise to operate using your account. This message will only appear the first time you navigate to Lumi Tutor. Select Accept.

5.        Lumi Tutor will now be available in your MyFIRE account. From here, you can begin utilizing the tool by selecting from the general prompts or entering your own question into the search box.

6.        Select the circle icon in the bottom right corner of the search box to request multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, true or false, or flash card practice questions.

7.        Lumi Tutor will take some time to gather information and then provide you with a response.

8.        Select Sources to view the specific locations in your course where Lumi Tutor gathered information. Select a listed location to be taken directly to that page within the course.

9.        Once an answer is provided, you will be able to select from additional prompts or enter another question.

10.  Select the clock icon at the top of the page to view your conversation history.

11.  Select the pencil icon to start a new Lumi chat.

12.  Select the three dots icon to send feedback or navigate to the LearnWise site.
