Locate MyFIRE Support & Training

As a student, there may be times when you are needing further support or training to complete tasks in MyFIRE. This tutorial demonstrates how to locate support and training for MyFIRE. 

1.    There are multiple ways to receive support or training in MyFIRE. The first place to get help is on the MyFIRE navigation bar. Select need help. 

2.    A drop-down menu will appear. Select MyFIRE support. 

3.    A new browser tab will open. From the support area, choose to contact SEU’s 24/7 Support Center for immediate assistance by: 

a.    Calling 1-888-889-6599. Users who call in may experience a wait time of about 6 minutes. If needed, a voicemail may be enabled. If you have to leave a message, an agent will return your call and/or follow up with you via email.

b.    Or select chat with an expert. It is recommended for international students or students temporarily located outside of the United States to open a chat ticket.

4.    Additional immediate assistance is available by reviewing the MyFIRE tutorials available to you. Tutorials can be accessed in two locations: 

a.    MyFIRE HelpDocs(https://myfire.helpdocs.com) - This tool is a location where you can quickly (A) search and (B) access tutorials to help you become familiar with the MyFIRE platform and features. If needed, reach out to internal SEU MyFIRE support by filling out the (C) submit a request form or to our (D) 24/7 support center. Note: SEU’s internal MyFIRE support team from the Instructional Design & Technology department is available during office hours: 8 am - 5 pm EST. If you need immediate assistance outside of business hours, contact our 24/7 Support Center.

b.    MyFIRE Student Recourses Course-  All students are enrolled in this course, and the course will appear in your course list in MyFIRE. This course is a free course to you become familiar with the MyFIRE platform and features, including practice assessments. Work through the training materials at your own pace if desired. Note: If you cannot find this course in your course list, please contact idtsupport@seu.edu for assistance with course access.
