In MyFIRE, taking a quiz
or an exam is part of the student experience as many courses utilize quizzes.
After submitting an attempt to a quiz, students may receive the message: “Your
quiz has been submitted successfully” or a similar message. Additionally,
depending on the type of course and the instructor’s discretion, students may
be able to review their attempt(s). This tutorial demonstrates how students can
view their quiz submission in MyFIRE.
Note: The students’ submission
view may vary from course-to-course and from quiz-to-quiz within a course.
1. Navigate to the desired course in MyFIRE.
2. Select the course tools tab at the top of the page
in the navigation bar.
3. Select class progress from the drop-down menu.
4. When the page refreshes, select Quizzes from the navigation
bar on the left side of the page.
5. Scroll to the desired quiz and select details below
the quiz title.
6. Click on the hyperlinked attempt that you would like
to view.
a. If the attempt has a
comment bubble to the right of the attempt title, that means that your
instructor has left feedback within the attempt for you to review.
b. If your quiz was completed
in the Respondus LockDown Browser, select launch lockdown browser to
view the feedback on your quiz attempt.
i. If an Open LockDown Browser pop-up message appears at the
top of your page, select open
lockdown browser.
ii. If another pop-up message appears asking if you want to
allow this app to make changes to your device, select yes.
iii. Respondus LockDown browser will open to the Quiz
submissions page (as long as unlimited attempts on a quiz is not enabled).
Select Attempt # (1, 2, 3, etc.) listed in blue to view the feedback
left on your attempt.
7. When the page refreshes, the details of the quiz attempt
will be available for review. Depending on the view settings, you may or may
not be able to review the questions from your attempt.
a. View with no access to
review questions.
b. View with access to review
questions. If you do have access, scroll down the page to review your
attempt.
8. Once done reviewing your attempt(s), select done at
the bottom of the page.
a. Once done viewing your
attempts in Respondus, select exit lockdown browser.
