The GMetrix software is utilized twice during the duration of the course. This is the first step towards readiness for the Microsoft Office Specialist Excel 2016: Core Data Analysis, Manipulation, and Presentation exam (77-727), which provides professional certification of data analysis skills. This course requires the use of a computer that utilizes a Windows operating system. If utilizing the GMetrix system within an undergraduate course, Office 2016 is required to take a test in the system. If you are a Mac user, you will need to obtain a Windows operating system environment (such as Parallels or a similar system). If using an emulator, you may find you need to go into Systems Preferences to change your screen resolution so all portions of the GMetrix screen are visible. While Macs aren't officially supported for GMetrix, we will do our best to help if you run into trouble. Be sure to send screenshots on anything you need help with. Once you begin the test, it can be saved and resumed at any time without having to reenter the access code. It also does not have to be finished on the same computer you started on. Additionally, you can take other tests without having to enter a new access code. GMetrix Quirks: First, you have to log in to Gmetrix and enter some of the same information twice. Second, once you start the test, you may have to click on the Excel icon on the taskbar after each question. If you notice any other quirks, please inform colsupport@seu.edu.
