Delete a Module

 

Face-to-Face instructors have the capability to delete modules from the course content. This tutorial demonstrates how to delete a module within MyFIRE. 

1.    Locate the desired course in MyFIRE 

2.    Select content & assessments from the navigation bar

 

3.    Under the Table of Contents menu, locate the module that needs to be deleted.

 

4.    On the right side of the page, select the drop-down arrow to the right of the module title.

 

5.    A drop-down menu will appear. Select delete module.

 

6.    A pop-up window will appear. Choose the desired type of deletion that is preferred: 

 

a.    Remove the module and all nested modules and topics from Content, but preserving all associated files and activities in the course- This option allows for the content to be restored if needed at a later date. This option is selected by default and is the recommended selection. 

b.    Permanently delete and remove all nested modules, topics, and all associated files and activities from the course- This option permanently removes the content with no option to restore. 

7.    Then select delete at the bottom of the pop-up window.
