Edit a File in
Eportfolio
ePortfolio
is a personal portfolio tool for storing, organizing, reflecting on, and
sharing items that represent your learning. You can include documents,
graphics, audio files, videos, presentations, course work, etc. that
demonstrate your improvement or mastery in a certain area. You decide what
items you want to include in your ePortfolio, how you want to organize them,
and who you want to share them with. This tutorial shows how to edit a file
that has already been uploaded to your ePortfolio.
1. Select User Tools at the top of the page in the navbar
2. From
the drop-down menu, select ePortfolio
3. Navigate
to the My Items tab
4. Locate
the desired file by entering the file's name in the search bar or by scrolling down the page. Once
the file is located, select
the drop-down arrow to the right of the file’s name.
6. Underneath
the File name, select Change File
7. A
pop-up window will appear. Select the X icon next to the item title to
upload a new file and replace the existing one.
8. Choose
the desired file type by either selecting Change File, Record Audio, or
Record Video. Please see the specific directions below for each file type.
a. Change File- upload a new file by
dragging or selecting the upload option, then select Add
b. Record Audio- Record an audio file
or upload an existing audio file.
i. If choosing to create a
new audio, select New Recording, then begin recording. When you are
satisfied, select Add.
ii. If attaching a
pre-recorded audio file, select the Upload File tab, then select Choose
File. When the desired recording is attached, select Add.
c. Record Video- Record a video file
or upload an existing audio file.
i. If choosing to create a
new video, select New Recording, then begin recording. When you are
satisfied, select Add.
ii. If attaching a
pre-recorded video file, select the Upload File tab, then select Choose
File. When the desired video recording is attached, select Add.
9. When
the desired file type has been added, select Save at the bottom of the
pop-up window.
10. Then
select Save and Close at the bottom of the screen.
